Description
The Nuclotron is the main installation of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in the Laboratory of High Energy Physics named after. V. I. Veksler and A. M. Baldin. It is designed to produce beams of multiply charged ions, as well as protons and polarized deuterons. This highly focusing synchrotron was built in Dubna in 1987-1992.
