On the basis of the WWR-K reactor at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan), scientific and technical works are being undertaken to develop and construct the most high-intensity source of ultracold neutrons (UCN) and also very cold neutron (VCN) source.
Based on those UCN/VCN sources, the Institute of Nuclear Physics wants to offer the use of the source to the wide international community.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together leading international experts to propose and discuss ideas and challenges for the development of UCN/VCN sources at INP and their application in present and future experiments.
The workshop participants can be source specialists, material scientists, and scientists in the various fields that will be possible future users of those sources.
